MERRY CHRISTMAS
What do you consider to be the most exciting description to share with unbelieving people this Christmas season?
LUKE 1: 32 - 35
Gabriel described Jesus in significant words and Phrases.
1. Great
2. God`s son
3. Promised Messiah in David`s line
4. Reign forever
5. His kingdom never ends
Jesus is greater than John and greater than all other human. This means in superiority in rank because of ability, virtue, authority, and power,
The son of the Most High. Most High refers to God. This means that He is the Son of God.
Jesus is the promised Messiah in David`s line. 2Sam. 7:11-16. He reign in power as the Messiah king but His kingdom is spiritual and eternal , not earthly and temporary.
- Jesus reigns over Israel forever. He did not free them from the Romans, but He offered them freedom from sin`s bondage, a much more significant salvation.
- Jesus kingdom will have no end. With Jesus, God`s kingdom broke into history, will be fulfilled when Jesus returns and extend through eternity.
Gabriel declared the mystery that God would accomplish Mary`s pregnancy through His sovereign power. He described God`s act with two parallel statements.
`` The Holy spirit will come upon you`` and
`` The power of the Most High will overshadow you``
The words express and emphasize God` creative power. As in Genesis 1-2, the account of God`s creating all that exists, Gabriel explanation stresses that God accomplishes what human can not. People cannot produce their own salvation. In His sovereign power, God graciously gave what we cannot do for ourselves. The virgin birth assures believers of God`s power and Jesus` uniqueness.
Because Mary`s pregnancy was the result of God`s creative power. Jesus is the Holy One - sinless and set apart for God`s redemption purpose.
He is moral pure, the perfect sacrifice who offered Himself to atone for people
sins .
Jesus is God`s revelation of Himself, and people recognized Him as such. Gabriel emphasized Jesus deity.
God bless you as we look upon what God has already given us.

GIRL CHILD PROTECTION
This was a very wonderful day that we celebrated here in Kibera Nairobi on 13th November 2009. This was to sensitized the the community the important of girl child in our society.
``Stop girl circumcision`` this was the message we carried a cross on our banner as we led a mass procession.
Right to protection STOP violence against children
Our walk took almost 2 kilometres to the destination. our ministry condemn girl circumcision as being practized by some of the communities here in Kenya. There has been a problem especially when the time for delivering comes. Some even dying when giving birth.
Our procession was so successful and was well attended. We thank God for our message was heard. And I know those community who practise this way shall refrain.

KAKAMEGA CRUSADE CONTINUE
Kakamega is one of the provincial Headquarter of the Western Province in Kenya Africa. It is just near the boarder of Kenya and Uganda. It is about 300 km from Nairobi the Capital city of Kenya. You can use aircraft and land either in two of the international airport Eldoret or Kisumu but you can as well pass throught Jomo Kenyatta International airport. It will take you about 4 hours to reach western province. The climate is not hot like Mombasa but moderate, most of people there are of small scale farmers using traditional way of farming. Ugali is the staple food ( grain flour cooked )
Western province has mountains such as mount Elgon which is the second highest mountain in Kenya. It is also near the largest lake in Africa lake Victoria, the fresh water lake. When you go to Kakamega you will meet the Luhya people which is the second largest tribe in Kenya, you will see bull fighting and the crying stone.
CRUSADE
It was so successful and for that matter in we give thanks and glory to God who did this. Many people confessed Jesus as lord and saviour. We had to pray for the sick and also deliverence. There was a boy who had been tormented by the evil spirit which could choke him and make him fall down to apoint of dying. We had to cast out those evil spirit. We thank God the boy was set free in Jesus name. There was a family that had devorsed but through counseling and praying for them God brought them back together again.
We give all glory to God.

WESTERN KENYA MISSIONS
When we speak of missions, we are talking about all the church does to fulfill the mission or purpose of God. This would include such things as giving, going and praying for missions.
The command of Jesus to wait for the promise of the Father was not only for those first disciples in Jerusalem. It is for all believers of every age until Jesus comes again. We, like those early believers, must seek the face of God until the Holy Spirit comes upon us. Only then we will be adequately equipped to be His witness at home and to the ends of the earth.
Having promised His disciples power, Jesus ascended into heaven. As He disappeared from their sight two men ( angels) appeared before them. The angels challenged them. `` Why are you standing here staring into the sky? This same Jesus will come again in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven``
Jesus commanded His disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel. And yet, He was insistent that they not begin the task, until they had first been clothed with power from on high. We, like those first- century disciples, have also been commanded to take the gospel to all nations. And we , too, must obey the command of Jesus to wait for the Spirit`s empowering. This empowering comes as a result of one`s being baptized in the Holy Spirit.
The purpose of their being filled with the Spirit is not for conversion but empowering for missional witness, as Jesus predicted in Acts 1:8 `` But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witness..........
As we go into the world to preach the gospel, we can anticipate resistance. Sometimes we will even experience threats and persecution. When this happens, we should remain focused on the task that God has given us.We should go and seek Him for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit. Our prayer should not focus on problems, but on God and ability to take care of us and meet our every need.
